About Me

I'm a queer, neurospicy artist and therapist living in the Pacific Northwest, and I believe making art isn't a luxury — it's a way of remembering who you are.

Art-making has always been a joy for me ever since I was little, but years of higher education and working inside systems that weren't built to sustain the people working in them almost burned me out. The voice that said "make something" grew smaller and smaller until I couldn't ignore it anymore. Coming back to my own creative practice, slowly and imperfectly, changed how I understand healing. It's where a lot of what I bring to this work actually comes from. I was reminded that art is one of the best forms of intuitive self-expression and self-care, and doesn't have to be Fine Art to be "good." Outside the therapy room, you'll find me at the pottery wheel, layering acrylic paint on canvas, or drawing with pens and markers until something surprises me.

I'm a Licensed-Certified Art Therapist (LCAT), a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC®), and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with ten years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the particular exhaustion that comes from living in systems that weren't built to hold all of us — even as we work to change that. I specialize in working with queer, trans, nonbinary, and neurodiverse folks, and I bring my authentic self into this work.
